Gather Online Writing Group

I’ve been running Gather – a monthly online writing group – for the Northern Writers Studio since January 2022. Over that time, it’s grown into a welcoming and supportive community of writers who enjoy coming together to try new writing exercises and talk about how their writing has been going outside of the sessions. The Northern Writers Studio has now closed, but I have continued to run Gather by myself. Sessions cost £15 (or contact me to block book at least three sessions at £10 each) and it’s fine to come along to occasional sessions or if you haven’t been before.

At each session, you’ll be able to:

• Learn more about writing and find out about new opportunities.

• Take part in writing exercises and share the results with the group (if you’d like to).

• Discuss progress on your own writing projects.

You’ll leave with more writing prompts and information to keep you writing until the next monthly session.

There’s no pressure to share work and the sessions cover different activities and genres every month.

The group meets on Zoom between 6.30pm-8.30pm on the first Thursday of the month. Meeting dates for 2024 are:
